Four popular claims, four evidence grades, and what to do instead.
What this is
Cycle syncing packages a genuine physiological fact — hormones fluctuate — into a set of instructions about which workouts, foods and even seeds belong in which week. The instructions are far more specific than the research they lean on.
Rating the claims individually is fairer than dismissing the category, because one of them is reasonable and the rest aren't.

Noticing your own pattern and adjusting sessions accordingly

What this means in practice
- Log training and symptoms for three cycles before concluding anything about your own pattern.
- Keep training frequency steady and vary intensity by how you feel that day.
- If symptoms are consistently wrecking a week of training every month, that's a medical conversation, not a programming one.
The honest summary
The reasonable core of cycle syncing is "pay attention to yourself". Everything sold on top of that — phase workouts, phase macros, seed rotations — is charging you for specificity the science doesn't have.

- There's no clinical evidence that it changes hormone levels or symptoms. Seeds are nutritious; the calendar around them is decorative.
