Women's Health & Training

The cycle, the menopause transition, and the energy-availability problem nobody screens for.

Most fitness advice was built on studies of men and then reissued with a lighter dumbbell. The corrective has swung the other way: cycle-syncing apps and hormone-based training plans now promise a precision the underlying research cannot support.

These guides sit between the two. Where the evidence is thin — and on cycle-phase performance it is genuinely thin — we say so, and point at the things that are well established instead: training load, energy availability, bone health and the menopause transition.
