Mind & Mood

Where the exercise evidence is strong and the hormone talk is mostly invented.

Two things are true at once here. Exercise has a substantial, well-analysed evidence base for depressive symptoms — a network meta-analysis in the BMJ, not a wellness blog. And the hormonal vocabulary that dominates wellness content — cortisol faces, adrenal fatigue, dopamine detoxes — is largely fabricated.

These pages keep the strong claims and drop the invented ones. Nothing here is a substitute for treatment, and every page points towards help rather than around it.
