Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)

Silver· human data

Also known as: Riboflavin

Needed for energy metabolism, with some evidence for migraine prevention.

Riboflavin is a B-vitamin central to energy metabolism and antioxidant recycling. Deficiency is uncommon on a mixed diet, and correcting it is the main established benefit of supplementing.

Beyond that, higher-dose riboflavin has preliminary evidence for reducing the frequency of migraines in some people, which is its most-studied specific use. It is safe and water-soluble; a harmless bright-yellow urine is common.
