Noopept
Bronze· animal data onlyA synthetic nootropic with mostly animal data and variable legal status.
Noopept is a synthetic compound related to the racetam nootropics, promoted for memory and learning and often paired with a choline source.
Most of the supporting evidence is from animal studies and small Russian human trials, with little rigorous independent human data. Its legal and regulatory status varies by country, and long-term safety is not well characterised — reasons for real caution.
