Holy basil (tulsi)

Silver· human data

Also known as: Tulsi, Ocimum sanctum

An adaptogen with early evidence for stress and blood-sugar markers.

Holy basil, or tulsi, is a revered Ayurvedic adaptogen used for stress resilience and general wellbeing.

Small human trials suggest it may reduce stress and anxiety symptoms and modestly improve blood-sugar and lipid markers, but the studies are small and varied. A low-risk adaptogen with promising but preliminary support.
