A brain-targeted choline donor with early evidence for attention and memory.

Citicoline (CDP-choline) supplies choline and cytidine and supports the brain's phospholipid and acetylcholine systems, making it a popular focus and memory nootropic.

Some human trials — including in healthy adults and in age-related memory complaints — report modest improvements in attention and memory, and it is used clinically for cognition in some countries. The evidence is promising but early; it is one of the better-tolerated choline sources.
